Parliament, Tuesday, 15 November 2022 – The Standing Committee on Public Accounts (SCOPA) will tomorrow receive a follow-up briefing from the Special Investigating Unit, the National Prosecuting Authority and the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (HAWKS) regarding collaboration on cases being investigated relating to the Department of Water and Sanitation, Eskom, Transnet, the South African Broadcasting Corporation, Denel, South African Airways and the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa.
The committee will also receive a legal opinion from the Parliamentary Legal Services on the State Security Agency 2014 Cabinet directive on vetting.
